Updated 2026-10-27 · Vision Research Group LLC

This page says what we have measured about the accessibility of visionresearchgroup.com, what we have not, and how to tell us if something here stopped you. It is a self-assessment rather than an audit, and it is written to be specific enough that you can tell which is which.

Where we stand

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2level AA. “Partially conformant” is the accurate term: parts of the site have been measured and fixed, and parts have not been assessed at all. We would rather say that than claim a level we have not tested for.

What we have measured

Measured 2026-10-27 against the live site unless noted.

  • A “Skip to content” link is present on all seven public pages, and on each one the target it points at is present too. Both halves are needed; a link whose target is missing silently does nothing.
  • Pages declare a language, carry a single top-level heading, and place their content in a main landmark.
  • Text contrast was corrected across the site in September and October 2026, including a case where a first pass darkened text that sits on a dark footer and made it worse — 5.82:1 down to 2.80:1. It was measured against the colour actually painted behind it and is now 8.25:1.
  • The two capability-statement PDFs are tagged documents (they carry a structure tree), declare their language as English, and have a descriptive document title. They contain no figures, so there is no image alternative text missing from them.

What has not been tested

This is the section most statements leave out, which is why it is worth being plain about.

  • No manual screen-reader pass (JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver) has been done on this site.
  • No independent or third-party evaluation. Every measurement above is our own.
  • The three forms — contact, quote request, and teaming inquiry — have not been assessed end to end for keyboard-only completion or for how clearly they report an error.
  • The capability-statement PDFs are tagged, but the quality of that tagging — reading order, heading levels, table header associations — has not been audited. Tagged is a floor, not a pass.
  • Nobody who relies on assistive technology daily has tested this site with us. That is the gap we would most like to close.

Section 508 and contract deliverables

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act applies to information and communication technology that federal agencies develop, procure, maintain, or use, and it reaches contractors through what an agency actually procures. This marketing website is not procured technology, so it would be a category error for us to describe it as “508 compliant.”

If you are a contracting officer or prime evaluating VRG and you need our accessibility posture for a specific deliverable, or an accessibility conformance report for one, please ask a person rather than relying on this page — the answer depends on what is being delivered under which contract. sales@visionresearchgroup.com or (509) 400-4824.

Telling us about a barrier

If something on this site blocked you, we want to know, and you do not need to name the standard it breaks or diagnose the cause. Email sales@visionresearchgroup.com or call (509) 400-4824 and tell us what you were trying to do and where it stopped. The page address and what you were browsing with both help, but send it even if you have neither.

How this statement was prepared

Prepared 2026-10-27 by self-assessment: inspection of the served markup on every public page, inspection of the PDF structure trees, and contrast measured arithmetically against the colours actually rendered rather than assumed from the palette. It will be revised when something on the measured list changes — and the conformance statement above will not be promoted without an audit behind it.
