Scopes VRG prices and performs
These are capability, not past performance. VRG quotes and performs the work below with qualified performers. The awarded citation above is the separate, verifiable claim — and VRG keeps the two apart on purpose, because a buyer checks.
Tanks and bilges
Ballast, fuel, oily-water and potable tanks; bilge spaces. Cleaning, residue removal, and turnover in a condition an inspector will sign.
Confined-space entry
Permit-required entry with attendant, gas-free testing before and during, and a rescue plan on site rather than on paper.
Oil-water separators
Pump-out, cleaning, and inspection access on OWS units — the scope that most often sits behind a facilities requirement rather than in front of it.
Oily and non-hazardous waste
Characterisation, manifested transport and disposal through licensed facilities, with the paperwork a contracting officer needs for closeout.
How the work runs
The site visit happens before the price
Access, lay-down space, shore connections and the actual condition of the space drive the cost more than the square footage does. A quote written without seeing them is a guess, and a guess on a confined-space job is the kind that gets re-priced mid-performance.
Qualified performers, named before award where you want them named
VRG prices this work with performers who hold the quals for it. Who they are is on the table during the quote, not after — and VRG does not pass a requirement to a subcontractor without telling the buyer.
Closeout is part of the scope, not after it
Disposal manifests, gas-free certificates, entry permits and the final receiving report are the deliverable as much as the clean space is. The job is done when the file is complete.
Set-aside eligibility. SDVOSB and HUBZone are both formally certified and verifiable under UEI YJKQKW6R4BM1. Together they make VRG eligible for set-asides and price preferences in either lane — and eligible for an SDVOSB sole-source award where a contracting officer finds no reasonable expectation of two or more SDVOSB offers (FAR 19.1406).
